Lynks share’s a new track, Brand New Face” from his forthcoming EP, Smash Hits Vol.2 out 27th January 2021.

“Brand New Face” explores themes of identity and beauty standards with razor-sharp satire. Heavy on synths, it’s a whirlwind of ferocious, bouncy avant-pop with one of the catchiest chorus’ to come out of this year.

The anthemic, dance-floor ready new offering is accompanied with another wild, self-directed video which sees Lynks trying out stupefying filters. Watch here.

“Brand New Face” is the second single off of Lynk’s new EP, Smash Hits Vol.2 and follows the raucous, “Pedestrian At Best, a deftly transformation of one of the finest rock songs in recent years. The five track project is bold in its commentary, dark in humour and true to Lynks form, fun. “Everyone’s Hot” is an industrial firecracker whilst “This Is The Hit” is a four-to-the-floor banger. The devilish synth-strut of “Don’t Take It Personal”, with its New Romantics nodding chorus, is a fever dream of a song. A vortex of audacious, bouncy, electro-pop, Smash Hits Vol.2 is exactly what the world needs right now.

In merging visceral industrial pop, gender-fuck drag and a legendary live show, Lynks has established a name for himself remarkably quickly. Emerging from Bristol, via South-London hit-factory The Windmill, he’s been tipped by The Guardian, Loud and Quiet, DIY, Jack Saunders and Elton John as one to watch this year. Smash Hits Vol.1 was released in July to acclaim and featuresHow To Be Successful’, a slice of unapologetic existential Gen-Z angst, the rubbery, rule-breaking ‘Str8 Acting’, the playful yet anarchic I Don’t Know What I Want and more. They’ve sold out headline slots across London, Bristol, Edinburgh and Margate, and performed alongside acts like Goat Girl, Shygirl, Sorry and Scalping.
