Music producing duo Evil House Party share electropop banger
‘Keep Going On’ is the new single by Copenhagen-based duo Evil House Party, a profound and propulsive dancefloor hymn chronicling existential restlessness and hard-won self-acceptance.
Summoning pulsating synth pop, Burial-esque woodblock percussion, and convulsive acid, ‘Keep Going On’ is the third single taken from ‘Grand Theft Audio’, the debut EP by Evil House Party.
Following their debut single ‘Wicked’ and the recent sequel ‘Head Held High’ – irresistible anthems that explored themes of retribution and disillusionment – Evil House Party complete the cycle with a surging, lushly detailed song of disquiet and resilience, borne along by the lilting vocals of Emma Acs.
Revealing that ‘Keep Going On’ is the first song the duo wrote together, Jacob Formann describes the track as a defining, symbolic work that reflects their identity, a consequence of “being in love with the struggle, a sleepy banger for lonely dancefloors”, while according to Acs, ‘Keep Going On’ describes a restlessness in oneself…it’s very much about the acceptance of failure and a lost sense of self”.
‘Keep Going On’ is out digitally out now and is taken from ‘Grand Theft Audio’ – the debut EP by Evil House Party, also available digitally and on bloody splattered 12” vinyl as well as black 12” vinyl on 24th September via Third Coming.
