Belgian Producer Ghost Jr Returns with New Single ‘Back to You’ via Dim Mak Records
Belgian electronic producer and DJ Ghost Jr returns with ‘Back to You’, released 30 October 2026 via Dim Mak Records. Having already performed at Tomorrowland, Ostend Beach Festival, and Fantasia Festival—including a Cherry Moon Legends appearance at Tomorrowland alongside his father, DJ Ghost—Ghost Jr has begun to carve out a distinct presence within the European electronic scene. The project has drawn attention from CLASH Magazine and surpassed 300,000 streams. His signing to Dim Mak, following the September single ‘2 Phones’, sets the stage for a forthcoming December EP. Raised in Brasschaat and now based in Valencia, Ghost Jr grew up immersed in the legacy of his father, the influential DJ Ghost, known for The Moon’s ‘Blow Up the Speakers’, Armani & Ghost’s ‘Airport’, Cherry Moon Trax’s ‘Needle Destruction’, and Q-ic & Ghost’s ‘Desire Go Higher’. Early bedroom productions evolved into club dates across Europe, shaping a sound that fuses Eurodance, Trance, and Techno, with retro inflections drawn from Pegassi, Marlon Hoffstadt, Dimitri Vegas, and Funk Tribu.
Clocking in at just under three minutes, ‘Back to You’ delivers a concise blend of electro-house and dance-pop. The track is anchored by a buoyant electro bassline, its elastic rhythm propelling the arrangement forward. The production maintains both punch and clarity, tailored for club systems, while a luminous synth layer expands across the mix, interlocking seamlessly with the vocal. The vocal itself remains focused and immediate, its pop sensibility and natural vibrato integrated cleanly within the electronic framework, free from excessive reverb or over-processing.
Ghost Jr shared: “‘Back To You’ started with my mom, but the more I worked on it, the more I realized it’s bigger than that. It’s about anything you keep returning to, no matter how far you go. Home, a person, a feeling. The lyrics are minimal on purpose so everyone can fill in their own ‘you.’”
