Melodic house maestro, Exstra unveiled his latest single ‘All I’ll Ever Know’ featuring the glorious UK-based singer-songwriter MØØNE, on 13 September via Enormous Chills.
Based in New York, Exstra initially started out as a DJ in Washington DC. After moving to New York, his DJ career flourished from 2013 to 2020, but when Covid struck it all came to a sudden halt. This is when his music production journey started. ‘All I’ll Ever Know’ comes hot off the heels of his recently released single ‘Frozen’, which received support from Magnetic Magazine and was played by Nora En Pure on Purified Radio 404 and 409.
‘All I’ll Ever Know’ features Exstra’s signature organic hues and analogue soundscapes, that’s able to hold a listener from beginning to end. With lyrics like “I’d rather feel it all, than nothing at all”, the track is a wholesome anecdote to the power that lies in feeling your emotions, no matter how scary, intense or intimidating they may seem. MØØNE sings from her core, as she fantastically conveys the emotional depths of the lyrics with her profound and tender-hearted vocals.
Exstra shared: “The instrumental version of ‘All I’ll Ever Know’ started with the melodic arp you hear featured throughout and came together extremely quickly. I knew that I wanted it to have vocals and I was so excited when MØØNE was down to collaborate. MØØNE’s warm and emotional voice is the perfect addition to the record and we’re so excited to be able to share it with the world!”
